This 10-day festival is the greatest outdoor show on Earth and was ranked one of the top parties in the world by CNN. Individuals from all around the world come to be part of this enriching experience. Why? Well, here are some reasons you should join the energy too!

  1. Rodeo

    Featuring the world’s best rodeo athletes and the finest stock, the Calgary Stampede Rodeo is definitely a must-see! Competitors from around the world display skill and grit each afternoon at 1:15 p.m. and for the evening show, nine heats of four chuckwagons each take place nightly at 7:45 p.m.


  2. A Global Variety of Food

    Word on the street is that there is a whole lot of crazy-delicious new food options from around the globe headed to the Midway this year, including red velvet chicken strips, dragon dogs, scorpion pizza, and mini-donut popsicles!     Perfect for family fun, the famous Calgary Stampede parade kicks off the 10-day celebration on the first Friday of Stampede around 7:30 a.m. The parade begins at the intersection of 3rd Street and 6th Avenue and finishes at the intersection of 4th Street and 9th Avenue in Calgary’s downtown core.
