I am very sad to hear that the Calgary Zoo lost its baby elephant. I had the opportunity of seeing this magnificent animal some time ago and it’s not the news that we wanted to hear.

I am very sad to hear that several of the Stingrays from the Calgary Zoo exhibit have died. I had the opportunity of seeing the Stingrays as soon as the Zoo opened the exhibit a few months ago and I am sad to hear the bad news. I hope that the Calgary Zoo will soon [...]

The Calgary Zoo is one of my favorite places in town. Great fun for the whole family. The admission fees are pretty reasonable and if you buy the yearly membership you can save even more. I put together a little video clip that shows some of the animals that call the Calgary Zoo home:
