  • Employment Centres - The Alberta Learning Information Service has the addresses and contact information for Calgary’s six provincial career service centres.
  • Calgary Regional Immigrant Council - This online tool helps immigrants and employers find job training support and resources in Calgary.
  • Bow Valley College Career Connection - Bow Valley College provides help with self-assessments, resume tune-ups, interview techniques and job searches.
  • Career Information Hotline - The provincial government’s employment hotline provides advice and referrals about careers, education and employment options.

Specialized Career Services

  • Champions Career Centre - dedicated to increasing the participation of disabled individuals in the Calgary workforce.
  • Prospect - provides a range of support to a variety of client groups including unemployed and underemployed Albertans, mature workers, at-risk youth and people with disabilities.

Youth Career Services

  • NextSteps.org - employment, career development and job-finding resource for young Calgarians.
  • Careers: The Next Generation - helps to bridge the gap between education and careers for Calgary youth via workplace internships.
  • Career Pathways - provides a multi-year learning experience that includes curriculum coursework, off-campus experience and career guidance.
