Not convinced that you should cancel?

Try the following test:
Switch channels three times in the space of two minutes. I guarantee that two of the channels that you choose when you switch will be showing nothing but advertisement.

If you really miss movies, TV shows, etc then subscribe to Netflix.

There’s also huge amount of news on the INTERNET and you can always check what’s new on youtube if you also want to save on the $8 per month that Netflix charges for their service.

You can watch Netflix on your home computer, Apple TV, iPad, iPhone, XBox, Playstation 3 and WII.

If you don’t live in Canada and have to idea what that means I suggest the following experiment: Stick your head into your freezer and think of something 3 times colder than that as your freezer probably does not go below -10 to -15.

What do you do?

Well, assuming you have to go out my suggestion is that you dress as warm as possible and pay very good attention to the transit schedule in case you depend on buses or the LRT to go wherever you need to go. It’s important to minimize exposure to the cold and the less you spend waiting for a bus at the bus stop the better.

The other suggestion is to try to engage into some physical activity. If you have a gym membership or can buy a day swimming pool pass to one of the community centres then it’s a good day to do so. This will help you keep your body in good shape.

Hopefully the cold won’t stay around much longer.

Be safe out there and drive carefully.
