Life in Calgary

I took the Family to the Calgary Zoo yesterday to see the Koalas.

It was great to see the Koalas and to hear all the information provided by one of the Zoo specialists. These little fellows spend most of their day sleeping and all that I managed to capture was this shot of his back.

I did capture a few other pictures around the Zoo as you can see below but I wish I had better equipment as I had problems with camera shake due to low light conditions.

Before you ask me I did not use flash in any of these shots.

I use a combination of high ISO and high aperture to get as much light as I can get to allow for a fast shutter speed to avoid camera shake but my camera will not give me anything better than ISO 1600 and most pictures provided at that ISO will be pretty noisy.
